We started the route right in the Caicedo square, the community and religious center of the city.

It is located in the historic center from where you can see the statue of the hero of independence, Joaquin Cayzedo y Cuero, surrounded by palm trees. From here we will continue to the neoclassical cathedral of San Pedro and the church of San Francisco. We will also pass by the church of La Merced, a religious epicenter of the city where in 1536 the founding mass of the city took place and is now considered a National Monument. Soak up the bohemian atmosphere of the San Antonio neighborhood, an area full of craft and antique stores and considered of urban and historical interest.

Continue to the southern part of Cali and pass by the bullring, as well as the famous Sixth Avenue, known for the modern touch it gives to the city. Finally, before learning a little salsa we take you to the Gato del Rio, a monumental sculpture by Hernando Tejada that, with its more than 3 meters high and wide and 4 tons of weight, has become a symbol of the city.
